Brink Nutrition was created by Camilla Brinkworth of Camilla Clare Holistic Health as a vehicle to make available and promote truly meaningful but little known plant-based ingredients to the natural medicine industry.

Camilla’s expertise in plant-based nutrition and natural medicines led her to quickly identify Ahiflower® as an ingredient that was desperately missing from Australia and New Zealand.

With the oceans in crisis, Ahiflower® (Buglossoides arvensis seed oil) is the ultimate answer to the Omega conundrum: what is the most sustainable, well balanced, non-GM omega source available? Ahiflower® is the answer to each of these.

Ahiflower® (trademarked and exclusively cultivated by Nature’s Crops International) was brought to Australia and New Zealand for the first time by PhytoLove Pty Ltd, a collaboration between Simah Acabani and Camilla.

Brink Nutrition is the second chapter to the important work that PhytoLove started.

Vision

Camilla’s mission is to see sustainable and truly-effective plant-based ingredients, such as Ahiflower, becoming the staple for consumer and healthcare practitioner choices.

The omega-3 industry is wildly destructive, and moving away from marine-derived oils is a powerful choice we can make for healthier humans and a healthier planet.

Health

As a degree-qualified Naturopath, and long term vegan, with what she believed an extensive knowledge of plant-based nutrition, Camilla was astounded when she came across the science underpinning Ahiflower® (Buglossoides arvensis seed oil). She became determined to bring it to Australia as an approved ingredient, and to educate as widely as possible on its outstanding potential for human health.
